Dr. Andreas Karabis joined IQVIA in 2017 and has been primarily focused on evidence synthesis (including meta-analysis, indirect treatment comparison and network meta-analysis), systematic literature reviews and decision-analytic models. He is currently leading the regional EMEA Real-World Methods and Evidence Generation, supporting health economics and retrospective database studies. He has been involved in numerous submissions to HTA and reimbursement authorities. Prior to joining IQVIA, Andreas was most recently Director - Head of the Modelling and Evidence Synthesis service line at Mapi Group (now part of ICON). Also, he has been appointed Honorary Senior Research Associate at the University College of London and he's actively involved in research projects. Andreas has published over 25 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, 50 conference abstracts and is serving as peer reviewer for several scientific journals. He holds a BSc in Mathematics, MSc and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Patras, Greece.
